Peace Of Mind

Peace comes from peace of mind. When your mind is at peace, your body follows. Fear of the unknown leaves us unformed and afraid to act as ourselves. When we don’t trust, understand, or walk in faith through the valley of the unknown, we risk acting on our worst intentions—hurting each other and ourselves, straying from the path we were given at birth. Free will and honesty set us free from oppression, confusion, and despair.

It’s hard to walk in the dark without a torch and a pitchfork. The torch is light—showing what’s around us. The pitchfork is protection, in case something unexpected jumps from the dark. But when two people meet, each with a torch and a pitchfork, we face a choice: assume the other means harm, or see that they are only protecting themselves.

Most people are selfish, and that’s natural. But selfishness can lead us to assume others want to hurt us. The torch lets us see what’s coming; the pitchfork decides how we respond.

If we truly want peace, we must learn to walk in the dark with faith. Light is knowledge, but it also makes us fear the darkness as something unknown. Yet energy—like light, like sound—is all around us. Even in the dark, we are never without God’s presence.

The pitchfork is just technology. It can plant seeds of good, or it can harm. Knowledge and technology aren’t the problem—it’s our ability to walk in faith, to trust that God has laid a path for us. Even when we can’t see the way, or choose to wander, we still find our destination: the joy of existence.

No light spreads farther than darkness—but the darkness is filled with God’s energy. We are safe, because we carry the light of the Lord within us.

“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.”
